My approach
Your Initial Contact
The first step is simply getting in touch. You can send me an email with any questions, or if you’re feeling ready, go ahead and book your session — I’ll take care of the rest.
My Contact
Once your session is booked, I’ll be in touch to learn more about you and your dog, and to gently plan the details — from location to anything that will make your session feel just right.
Picture time
The big day. We’ll meet, chat, and take a little time to connect so your dog feels comfortable and at ease. Once they’ve settled in, we’ll begin capturing those first moments.
If young children are part of the session, I like to photograph them early on while their energy is fresh. For outdoor sessions, we’ll often start with movement — running, playing, and letting your dog burn off some excitement — before easing into more relaxed, posed portraits and those natural, cuddly moments you’ll treasure most.
Delivering photos
You’ll receive a few sneak peeks shortly after your session — often the same day or within 24 hours.
From there, I carefully select and lightly edit the strongest images to create your soft-proof gallery. This is typically ready within 1 day to 1 week, depending on the season, and I’ll always give you a clear timeline during your initial consultation.
Once your gallery is ready, you’ll have 3 weeks to select your images. If you need a little more time, just let me know — I completely understand that life can get busy, and I’m always happy to extend it for you.
